Hi, I am Pauline Stiles...
I am a Body Therapist and Compassion Coach working with individuals and groups who are stuck in patterns of internal and external suffering and struggle with their mental, physical and emotional health.
Together we shine a light onto the problematic thoughts and behaviours to understand their motives and origin.
With compassion and openness, a loving and healthy relationship can be created towards themselves and their bodies so they move forward from the pain of the past and live more in the present moment.
I hold a safe and sacred space for my clients to process, heal and reconnect to the wisdom and truth of their hearts, allowing them to see and feel beneath the emotional pain, unprocessed trauma and limiting beliefs.
I am a regulated witness to their pain so it can be fully felt and metabolised and a guide helping reconnection back to the body.
With their new found understanding, compassion and open heartedness, more peace, acceptance and love is experienced.
This work is deep, sacred and profoundly healing.
I have been a body worker for over 25 years and in that time have come to believe without doubt that our bodies hold all the unintegrated feelings, emotions and experiences from our past that were not fully processed.
This energy gets stuck in our joints and tissues causing stress, pain and sometimes injury to wake us up to ourselves. We develop all kinds of adaptive behaviours to cope and avoid the pain.
In 2017 it was suggested to me that I had Complex Post Traumatic Stress because I had been experiencing chronic pain for years. From then until now I have explored this possibility taking me to the world of IFS - Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory and the deep transformative approach created by Gabor Mate called Compassionate Inquiry.
I have spent these last years training in these modalities and specifically the last 2 years training in Compassionate Inquiry Certification where I have experienced personally the deepest of healings and watched my peers and clients do the same.
I am now a Polyvagal informed, Certified Compassionate Inquiry Therapist offering this deep, precious healing space to the brave souls that undertake this sometimes gruelling, yet profoundly transformative work.
